DTW Architects transformed the historic Kimbrell Furniture building into a vibrant mixed-use destination. Street-level renovations created retail and restaurant spaces for Mothers & Sons Trattoria, Lucky’s Delicatessen (now Alimentari at Mothers & Sons), and a contemporary furniture store.
The upper floors were reimagined as office space and residential condominium units. As part of the ongoing story of downtown Durham’s revival, this project continues DTW’s proud tradition of contributing to the community’s urban renewal.
