DTW Architects created two design options for the headquarters of this national nonprofit dedicated to preserving forest and conservation history. Each concept was tailored to support a small staff while accommodating the organization’s extensive library and archive collections made available to scholars and researchers.
Both designs allow for the future expansion of the library and archive facilities. They also minimize site disturbance, taking advantage of the natural land grades to discreetly locate a service and delivery area beneath the main part of the building.
