DTW Architects has worked with numerous religious organizations to develop long-range plans for their properties. Often, religious groups have only enough funds to build their campuses a little at a time. Master Plans are extremely helpful in these cases, as religious groups can consider how they will build their missions over time, while being good stewards of their monies. Some groups build a sanctuary first, gradually adding a fellowship hall or classrooms as funds permit. Others build a fellowship hall first, and use it for both worship and fellowship. Other issues to consider are drives and parking, and how buildings relate to one another and the topography of the site.
