DTW Architects designed two additions and a renovation of this church campus. The congregation had specific needs in its administration and preschool building: additional classroom and administrative spaces, a parlor and music room. It also assumed that building another structure on the campus would handle these needs. DTW analyzed these desires and the existing building, and demonstrated that two additions on either end of the building, with renovations on the existing interior, would better meet the congregation’s needs. This building, along with the sanctuary and another building, already formed a courtyard space, but DTW reinforced this courtyard with a columned colonnade that connects all three buildings.
